Brief Description of Duties and Responsibilities
The kitchen department require casual basis Commis Chef’s to work within La Tour Grill and contribute to the department. Hours will be available as the business requires them. The Commis Chef is the most junior position within the department and is perfect for candidates in training, with limited experience, or just starting out in the industry. This is a great opportunity to work within an amazing kitchen serving brilliant quality products.
·To ensure that all working areas are kept clean and tidy at all times.
·To prepare, cook and serve food as specified by the Head Chef.
·To be able to assist with food stock on a monthly basis as required by the Head Chef.
·To ensure that all food leaving the Kitchen is of the correct temperature and of the highest standard required by the Head Chef.
·To ensure that sections and work areas are clean before going off duty.
·To control refrigeration storage and dry goods store to ensure no unnecessary waste.
·To be able to work on your own without supervision and be self-motivated.
