Congratulations to Employee of the Month Rachel Dorrell.
It’s a double celebration for Rachel as she has also recently been promoted to Senior Chef de Partie.
Rachel is the doyenne of the dainty dessert and the creator of Hotel La Tour’s celebrated afternoon tea (the Easter edition is pictured here). Her most recent triumph was a very busy Mother’s Day weekend during which she produced afternoon tea for more than 100 guests.
She was nominated for the award, which brings with it a £200 cash prize, for her innovation, hard work and ability to take on additional responsibility in the kitchen.
