#FutureFoodies: one week countdown

#FutureFoodies, Birmingham’s social media food fair is just one week away.

Tickets have been snapped up like, well, like hot cakes (!) and Hotel La Tour Birmingham is looking forward to hosting this exciting new event.

The event is the brainchild of Dine Birmingham creator and editor Ahmed Ahmed and will bring together independent food and drink traders to showcase their products to food bloggers, journalists and social media users. It’s all about getting the chance to taste the best of the city’s indies, all in one place.

Among the exhibitors will be our very own Aalto Restaurant which is presenting a delectable dessert bar created by Pastry Chef Rachel Dorrell. Rachel will be taking the opportunity to recreate our signature Jaffa Cake Pudding in miniature and also serving sweet treats such as Egg Custart Tart, Strawberry Fool and a selection of Chocolate Filled Macaroons. Alongside each delightful dessert we will be serving a specially-selected dessert wine.

#FutureFoodies is open to the public too but you’ll need to register for a ticket which you can do here
