+BREAKING NEWS+ Café Ezra is changing: the little sister of Aalto Restaurant at Hotel La Tour is undergoing an autumn revamp. From next week, our emphasis will be on offering quirky twists on British classics inspired – of course – by the best of Birmingham.
We’ll have a new menu with breakfast, lunch and grazing boards to refresh, revive and replenish with some quirky twists on quintessential British classics.
Breakfast will be relaxed and informal – a home from home. Enjoy sourdough toast with British butters and wild fruit jams, or bacon butties with homemade bloody mary ketchup. We’d love it if you would pull up a chair and stay for a while but are equally happy for you to grab and go.
When you do have time to sit awhile, come and introduce yourself over a slice of cake or an achingly light pastry from Rachel, our hugely talented pastry chef.
Not tempted by the sweet stuff? There are grazing plates of local cheese, British cured meats, olives and a very nice (and just a tad naughty) homemade pork crackling. We’ve still got great coffee of course and some lovely tea plus, new at Ezra, a selection of beers, cider and and wine.
Get the idea? It’s kind of Brummie British tapas, perfect to see you through the day in a reassuringly familiar – yet refreshingly different – place.
Come and rediscover Café Ezra soon.
