Easter Egg Hunts
No Easter would be complete without the traditional egg hunt, and Birmingham has plenty taking place across the city.
Cadburys have teamed up with The National Trust to create an exciting Easter egg trail at Birmingham Back to Backs, a carefully restored 19th century courtyard. Follow the clues dotted around the trail, answer questions and complete a series of fun challenges to be rewarded with a Cadburys egg at the end.

The Botanical Gardens
Join the Easter fun at Birmingham’s Botanical Gardens. Taking place on April 20th, enjoy a traditional egg hunt as well as other fun packed activities such as pony rides, face painting and a petting farm where the kids can get up close to ducklings, chicks, rabbits, guinea pigs, and more!

Museum of the Jewellery Quarter
From 12th April until 26th April, the Museum of the Jewellery Quarter will be hosting a family friendly Easter egg hunt around the museum. Complete the hunt and win a chocolate prize at the end. Hunts are taking place between 10:30am and 5pm.

Explore the gardens and follow an exciting Easter trail, unearthing clues as you go. Or perhaps plant your very own seed in the different gardens around the museum. Afterwards, why not enjoy the traditionally cooked fish and chips or see live bakery demonstrations? From 12 April – 27 April.
Penguin Ice Adventure
The brand new under water ice adventure at Sea World is arriving, just in time for Easter. See the colony of Gentoo Penguins in their new icy home and learn more about this near threatened animal. More information is available at Sea World.
Take a trip to the Birmingham Hippodrome to watch the award winning show, Evita. The story of Eva Peron comes to Birmingham this Easter from 8th April until 19th April. Visit the Hippodrome website for more information.
