From abseiling to cake baking, trekking to trading, Hotel La Tour Birmingham is launching an ambitious programme of fundraising activities to support the city’s Children’s Hospital.
The company, which opens its flagship hotel in the city centre at the end of March, has announced a fundraising partnership and set an initial target of collecting £20,000 which
will be used to help some of the region’s most critically ill youngsters.
Hotel La Tour Operations Director, Adrian Colman, said: “We’re looking forward to working with Birmingham Children’s Hospital over the coming months. It’s a great cause which touches the lives of many people in the region. We know that our newly-recruited team of 100 employees are going to embrace the challenge of raising as much money as possible in order to support the dedication of the staff with resources and equipment in order to make a real difference to young lives.”
Shahaji Begum, Corporate Partnerships Consultant for the hospital charity, said: “The commitment and enthusiasm of Hotel La Tour towards helping our children is commendable and we are excited to be working with them throughout the year.
“Their support is appreciated by all the staff and children here at Birmingham Children’s Hospital.”
The £24m Hotel La Tour development
in the Eastside area of the city, has 174 bedrooms and suites, plus restaurant,
bar, coffee shop and conference floor.
