This Shropshire-based artisan producer takes milk from a happy herd of British Friesians which grazes the lush pastures at Wilstone Farm, at the foot of the Caradoc Hill.
Martin Moyden and wife Beth produce a line of award-winning cheeses and believe it’s the great milk and traditional production methods which allow the great provenance of their cheeses to come through.
Taking Shropshire landmarks as their names, there’s Wrekin Blue: named after Wrekin Hill which rises 1,335ft above the Shropshire Plain; Newport 1665 takes its name from the year the great fire of Newport swept through the town.
